🔒Mewmodoro is developed based on a privacy-first design philosophy. Your work data is never sent externally and is saved entirely on your local device.
1Basic Policy
Kiki Neko Project (hereinafter referred to as 'we' or 'us') considers the privacy protection of users in the desktop application 'Mewmodoro' (hereinafter referred to as 'the App') to be of the utmost importance. This Privacy Policy clarifies what information the App acquires and how we handle it.
2Data Stored on Device
The App stores the following data only on the user's local device. This data is never sent to external servers.
📊 Work Record Data
- Pomodoro session start/end times
- Focus time/break time during sessions
- Daily, weekly, and monthly statistical information
🪟 Active Window Information
- Foreground application name
- Window title
- Usage time of each application
* This information is used solely for generating focus reports and is never sent externally.
📝 Other Data
- Task management data (task names, completion status)
- App settings information (timer duration, themes, etc.)
- Gamification data (EXP, level, coins, purchased items)
- Report card image data
3External Communication
The App operates offline as a general rule, but external communication occurs only in the following cases:
🔑 License Authentication
To verify the validity of the Pro version license, communication with an external authentication server occurs only during license key authentication. The data sent is purely the license key; personal information and work data are not included.
🔄 Update Check
To check if a new version of the App is available, it may periodically query an update server. No personal information is included in this communication.
4Data Not Collected
We absolutely do not collect the following data:
- ✕Personal identification information such as user's name, address, phone number
- ✕Input information such as keystrokes, mouse movements
- ✕Browser history and URL information
- ✕Screenshots or screen recordings
- ✕File contents or document contents
- ✕Data inside other applications
- ✕Location information
- ✕Advertising tracking and analytics data
5Data Storage Location and Management
The App's data is stored in the following directory on your device:
Data deletion occurs automatically upon app uninstallation, or can be permanently deleted by manually deleting the above folder. We have no means of accessing the user's local data.
6Provision to Third Parties
We will never provide, sell, or rent user information to third parties. The App does not incorporate third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking codes.
7Children's Privacy
This App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.
8Changes to Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy as necessary. If there are material changes, we will notify you within the App or on the website. The changed policy will become effective from the time it is posted.
